Item Number 313 Olympia Beer It's the Water" Lidded Stein Measures 6 inches tall from the top of the thumb hold to the bottom. Made in Germany by Gerz which closed for a time during World War I, this helps to date the stein. Using information provided by another collector, the estimated date on this stein is 1915 - 16. When I run my hand around the can, there seems to be even spacing in ridges that run horizontal. They can not be seen, but felt if you pay close attention. The height of the can is correct.
